Repeat Prescriptions
Please request your repeat medication at least 2 working days in advance.
You can order your repeat prescription here or you can email chatfield.prescriptions@nhs.net
From 1st May 2022 we will no longer accept prescription requests over the phone
If you require a repeat prescription you will be asked to nominate a pharmacy so that we can send the prescription electronically directly to your local pharmacy. This means you can head straight to the pharmacy without having to attend the surgery.
Most local chemists are happy to order, collect, and deliver your medication if required. We also offer an Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). It is a faster, paperless way for us to send your prescription to a pharmacy of your choice.
Or you can click here!
We have upgraded to the next phase of EPS, which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically.
Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money. You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now.
Read more about EPS on the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/pharmacies/electronic-prescription-service/
Medication Reviews
All patients on repeat medication will need to have their medication regularly reviewed by a doctor. Please ensure that you make an appointment for this review before your review date, printed on the bottom of your prescription receipt. On occasion you may need to see your doctor for a review before a further prescription will be issued.
